Usha Menon is Senior Partner Consultant at =mc|asia. She is one of the leading Asia-based, not-for-profit management and fundraising experts with experience and expertise in both fundraising and training with multi-national and multi-cultural exposure.
Usha worked for Habitat for Humanity International as the Asia-Pacific Director of Resource Development and Regional Programs covering 26 countries. As a consultant she has helped transform the management and fundraising of NPOs in Asia and the Pacific.
She is a co-author of Global Fundraising (Wiley 2013).
Mike Muchilwa is our African Senior Partner Consultant, based in Kenya. Trained as an economist, he has extensive experience in fundraising, strategic and business planning, organisational development and social enterprises. Mike is the current chair of the Kenyan Association of Fundraising Professionals (KAFP) and has been involved in a number of assignments for global donors including DFID, GEF/UNDP, UNEP, EU-MESP, The Royal Netherlands Embassy, USAID and UNCDF.
He is the co-author of Global Fundraising (Wiley 2013).
Gonzalo Guzman del Rio is a Senior Partner Consultant based in Santiago de Chile, working as part of =mc|Latin America. He has 17+ years of experience in fundraising, 10 working as head of the area for Greenpeace and UNICEF. Now leading his own fundraising agency he has achieved important goals through donor acquisition and retention campaigns, corporate alliances and merchandising. The previous 15 years he worked in the private sector as a marketing specialist in the advertising business, developing research, strategies and campaigns for leading international brands.
Masataka Uo is a Senior Partner Consultant and one of the top leaders in Japan’s fundraising/social investment sector with a track record of success in raising funds for social causes, cultural projects, and international development. He is the CEO of Japan Fundraising Association, a nationwide fundraisers’ network that promotes philanthropic giving in Japan, and the founder and CEO of Fundrex, a leading fundraising and management consulting company.
He led the launch of the Certified Fundraiser (CFR) programme in Japan and organises the annual fundraising conference.
